Our family and pet-friendly home is the perfect place to relax and recharge after a day of exploring southern Utah! Located in a quiet Kanab neighborhood, we're less than an hour away from Zion National Park, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Lake Powell and a little further to Bryce Canyon National Park and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. At the end of the day, you'll love coming back to your own private hot tub to unwind and soothe away the miles of hiking you can do here.

The Space

Hayduke's Hideout is a spacious home with four bedrooms and two bathrooms designed with your comfort in mind! We're located on a quiet street only a block away from Jacob Hamblin Park and the Kanab City swimming pool & skatepark. Our home has been renovated with central air conditioning and heating. You're sure to love the clean, modern feel of the entire home.

As mentioned, you can bring your pets, too! This property is a pet-friendly property and does require a $75 pet fee if you plan on bringing your furry friends. Pet Policy: Pets are NOT allowed to be unattended in the home at any time, please understand and respect our policy.

Neighborhood

You're just blocks from the center of town and you can walk to shops, restaurants and our parks. You'll be able to hike directly from our home to many of the trails surrounding Kanab.There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.Equestrian and biking trails are also available.

Guests must sign a separate Hot Tub Use & Safety Agreement in order to use the hot tub.  Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your reservation. You can also visit Pipe Springs National Monument (21 miles), the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (15 miles), Vermilion Cliffs National Monument (77 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (20 miles), Kodachrome Basin (93 miles), Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area (75 miles), the "Wave"/Paria Wilderness (50 miles), Horseshoe Bend (77 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (65 miles) and so much more. Getting Around

This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.

Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.
