The Space

This is a BRAND NEW, beautiful 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome. The modern yet cozy décor will make you feel right at home! Plenty of space for families or traveling couples with a king bed in the master bedroom, king bed in the 2nd bedroom and 2 queen beds in the 3rd bedroom. After a day of adventure in the parks come home to your fully appointed kitchen, where making all the night's fixings will be easy. Or, step outside on the patio and use the BBQ to grill something delicious! Don't feel like cooking? It's an easy stroll to several local restaurants and grocery stores.

Need to unwind? Relax in the hot tub or sit on the patio in the fully fenced backyard. This townhome is an end unit which provides extra privacy. The main living area is equipped with a large TV for internet-based entertainment (movies, live streaming, etc.), as well as an Xbox console for all your gaming needs. There's even a ping pong table in the garage! This home is equipped with fiber for high-speed internet and the primary bedroom hosts a dedicated workspace for those working remotely. There is a full-size washer and dryer in the laundry room for guest use. There is also an attached garage available for private, secure parking.

First Floor:

Living Area - With two comfortable sofas, a coffee table, and end tables, a large Smart TV and Xbox console, this space is a great place to relax, unwind, watch TV, or game with your friends!

Kitchen - This fully stocked kitchen includes a kitchen island with seating for four, as well as a dining table with chairs for 6 and a large bench to accommodate more if needed. A coffee maker, walk-in pantry, blender, toaster, crock pot, baking dish, cookie sheets, pots, pans, pizza pan, waffle iron, and hand mixer. The open kitchen/living room is the perfect spot to gather.

Hoodoo is tastefully decorated but if you prefer to spend your time outside, well, we don't blame you! Step onto the covered back patio and the fully fenced backyard where you will find a hot tub that feels just perfect after a day of exploring or hiking. Use the BBQ grill to cook dinner, the patio furniture make outdoor dining and relaxing easy!

Downstairs you will also find a half bath for your convenience.

All bedrooms located on second floor:

Master Suite - Sleep well in a king bed with a brand new, comfortable mattress. The smart TV, walk-in closet, and work space in this spacious room make it comfortable and make working remotely easy! This room also includes an ensuite bathroom complete with a large vanity and a tub/shower combo.

Just off the master suite is a private outdoor balcony with seating, enjoy a quiet morning outside and watch the sun rise over the breathtaking red hills.

Guest Bedroom 1 - A brand new, comfortable king mattress, plush bedding, closet with ample space, and a smart TV makes this bedroom an easy place to relax and get a great night's sleep!

Guest Bedroom 2 -  This room can accommodate 4 with 2 Queen beds, both featuring brand new mattresses. A smart TV and closet with ample space to hang your clothes complete this guest bedroom.

Guest Bathroom - The guest bathroom upstairs is a full bathroom with a large vanity with sink, toilet, tub/shower combination, and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and and soap.

Laundry Room - Located on second level, the laundry room is equipped with a full capacity washer & dryer as well as complimentary laundry soap.

Guest Access

You will be provided with a code to enter the home prior to your arrival. Guests will have full use of the townhome, garage, balcony, and patio.

Neighborhood

HooDoo is located in one of Kanab's newest developments, White Pocket Villas. Please note the address may not show up on some map programs due to the newness. If entering from the North you will come through downtown Kanab and take a left on 650 South (just before the Bureau of Land Management building). Drive 1 block and White Pocket Villas will be on your right. If entering from the South on Hwy 89A you will take a right on 650 South (just past the Bureau of Land Management building). Drive 1 block and White Pocket Villas will be on your right.

There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, softball fields, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours. Jackson Flat Reservoir is just a few miles South and rents paddleboards and kayaks, or rent an e-bike and ride around the water on Sherry Bunting trail. Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.

Equestrian and biking trails are also available.

You can also visit Pipe Springs National Monument (21 miles), the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (15 miles), Vermilion Cliffs National Monument (77 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (20 miles), Kodachrome Basin (93 miles), Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area (75 miles), the "Wave"/Paria Wilderness (50 miles), Horseshoe Bend (77 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (65 miles) and so much more. Please note mileage is approximate and may vary by a few miles.

Getting Around

This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.
